Topic: Title IX Coordinators: A Review of Three University Campuses Abstract: The abstract should be 150 words or less. It should provide a brief, comprehensive summary of the study. Page limit:Maxium of 20 pages (excluding title, abstract page, table of contents, reference, appendices, etc. Chapter 1: The Introduction should identify the key issues to be addressed, state the problem and purpose of the study, and cite key references. (Tell the reader what Title IX is and how it came to be; how the researcher will conduct the research as it relates to what Title IX law, such why did the the Clergy Act, explained, and why did the Obama Admin rewrite Title IX). Tell the reader why Title IX is important to students, employees and the community and how it protect them, etc. Example: In 2014 the Obama Administration rewrote the Title IX policy that mandated that all college campuses who was receiving federal funded monies from the government. Chapter 2: The Literature Review should review the Title IX policy that support this study. What does the Literature say about Title IX interventions programs such as the Bystander Intervention Programs that are used on many of the college campuses. The writer of this paper need to look at the policy of Title IX and its purpose that the writers had in mind when they wrote this law, then review and critque the different strategies that the writers used when they wrote the law. Chapter 3 The Theoretical Framework includes the theory that supports the Title IX law. What did the writers of Tilte IX have in mind when they wrote that law. Find a theory that describes how does Title IX change social policy and it’s implemenation? How does the environment a play part on the people lives? What changes did Title IX desired with the policy in the social change when it was written? etc, (Ex. Ecological Systems Theory, Erik Erikson, 8 Stages of Development) I need the writer to find a theroy to support the types of above mentioned questions that and write supportive perspective opinion. Chapter 4 The Methodology – The question that I am asking: Is there a a Title IX Coordinator on the Campus on the Campus of NCCU, UNC, and Duke University? Sample size and design data collection, instrument,etc. (qualitative method) This researcher will use a questionnaire format survey and invite the Title IX Coordinators of NCCU, UNC, and Duke University and ask several questions regarding their policy, intervention plan, etc. Chapter 5 Conclusion This chapter consists of a discussion on research findings, limitations of the study, and implications for social work practice. This chapter should indicates how the study will be used and how it will benefit social work, society, etc; social implications References I would like to have discussions with the writer throughout this project. She stated that the Gap is: Why was Title IX admendmend? There has to be a or a new need that emerged that caused the Obama Admininstration to rewrite Title IX. In addition, the questions that I going to ask the Title IX Coordinators are: (1) Are there Title IX Coordinators on your campus? (2) What are the role and responsibilities of the Title IX coordinators? What programs and interventions have been implemented? The Professor also stated to look at the Compliance Theory.
